FAVOURITE BOOK OF THE YEAR. This was fantastic. I urge you to get a copy of this when it is released in August 2021.
I have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of the third book in the Sacramento series, and I am so happy that I was given a chance to read this one before pub day.
Karen Rose is an absolute favourite of mine and I have all her books and have re-read them many times. Each year it’s torture waiting for the next instalment – I need to know what is going on with my favourite fictional family!
Do you ever fall in love with the first book in a series and then worry that you won’t love the next book as much? What if the magic from the first book is missing? What if, the author has tried to retell the first story just with different names?
Worry not, none of this happens in Evie Dunmores brilliant new novel, A Rogue of One’s Own.
This is the 5th instalment in the overall Romantic Suspense series by Karen Rose, but the 4th in the Chicago series. We’ve got some of the previous characters appearing as secondary in this one, such as Spinelli, Abe and Mia. And some brand new ones.
Nothing to Fear is the 4th instalment in the romantic suspense series from Karen Rose, and it is also the 3rd in the Chicago series.
We have got the usual mix of murder, sex, violence and passion. Karen Rose is just the best at writing grisly murder with blood and horror, then on the next page giving you steamy hot sex. There’s never a dull moment in any of her books, with something going on with every page turn. We have all the regular characters that appear throughout the series, which makes it so easy to read.
We’ve been waiting a while for Dani and Diesel’s story, and we finally have it, in Into the Dark – the 23rd in Karen Rose’s romantic suspense series. It’s out next month (Nov 2019 in UK).
I’ll start by saying that all of KR’s books are fantastic and it would be very unlikely for me to give them anything other than 5 stars.
Dani is a doctor. She’s part of the family KR has built in her universe, that includes Police, FBI, Therapists, Reporters, Volunteers – basically all good people with open hearts and selfless personalities. Diesel is a hacker that works for a newspaper, again part of this massive family we have come to know and love.
Say you’re sorry is the twenty-second book in the romantic suspense series by Karen Rose, however, it is the first in the new Sacramento series.
I am always super excited when a KR book comes out. She is one of my top authors, and reading her books is just such a comfort blanket – even with all the gore and violence, it still makes me feel … cosy. 🙂
